Settle in under the summer sky for an unforgettable evening of lyrical storytelling, soaring melodies, and soul-nourishing sound. Frequency Sound 528 welcomes two extraordinary singer-songwriters whose performances blend music, meaning, and magic in an intimate outdoor setting. With only 30 advance tickets available and first-come-first-serve entry at the door, this is a night to gather, connect, and be moved.
Featuring:
Ross Christopher Fairbairn – With a decade-plus on the road as a touring bassist, Ross now steps into the spotlight with his debut solo EP, Finally, At Last (June 2025). Fusing the raw energy of Green Day and Metallica with the grit and heart of Fred Eaglesmith and Tom Waits, Ross brings loud, layered, and emotional storytelling to the stage. You’ll laugh. You’ll cry. You’ll holler.
Michael Averill – A masterful musician and storyteller who’s walked 4,000 miles across Canada sharing songs and sparking connections. His performances are a tapestry of finger-style folk, bluesy lap steel, and whimsical shanties. Michael’s warmth and philosophical wordplay inspire audiences to connect deeply—with themselves, each other, and the world around them.
