ORRA & October Poppy

  • Frequency Sound 528 Inc. 3210 Gulley Road Kelowna, BC, V1W 4E5 Canada (map)

An intimate evening of shimmering indie pop, nostalgic textures, and emotionally rich songwriting as Vancouver's ORRA takes the stage.

Vancouver-based indie pop band ORRA hums the stories of early adulthood beneath swelling synthesizers, infectious hooks, and punchy rhythms.

Blending the danceable grooves of ABBA with the emotional edge of artists like Lorde, ORRA creates a sound that balances disco nostalgia with late-night melancholy. At the heart of the project is the songwriting partnership of vocalist and keyboardist Sarah Orr and drummer Cam McGregor, whose chemistry shines through every performance.

Having played iconic Vancouver venues including the Biltmore Cabaret, The Roxy, and the Cobalt Cabaret, ORRA continues to build momentum across Canada. Their music has been featured by Indie Underrated and Canadian Beats, broadcast on stations including KEXP Seattle, Radio Western, and Kootenay Co-op Radio, while their Spotify audience continues to grow rapidly.

With irresistible melodies, polished production, and emotionally resonant songwriting, ORRA is quickly becoming one of Canada's emerging indie acts to watch.

Special Guest: October Poppy

Born from a love of untamed songs, October Poppy crafts music where grit and dream coexist.

The trio of Eryn Kleyh, Nick Thomas, and Matt Pord creates a captivating blend of atmospheric indie rock and alternative folk, where Pacific rain meets riot grrrl spirit. Their songs feel both nostalgic and electric—equal parts vulnerability and power.

Having shared their music throughout Western Canada, October Poppy brings an intimate, emotionally charged performance that perfectly complements the evening.
